At L’Espérantine de Marseille, chocolate is far more than a treat – it’s an invitation to share a Mediterranean art of living, where pleasure, wellbeing and authenticity blend in perfect harmony. Since 1999, we have been creating unique artisanal chocolates born from exacting know-how and a passion for noble ingredients. Our creations unite the finest raw materials: Grand Cru cocoa, extra-virgin olive oil from the Alpes de Haute Provence, I.G.P. Piedmont hazelnuts, candied citrus peels, Provence almonds… each ingredient is carefully chosen for its quality and elevated by our master chocolatiers.

Our collection unfolds into several families, each bearing L’Espérantine’s singular identity: the iconic olive-leaf-shaped Espérantines, olive-oil pralines, filled and traditional tablets, handcrafted spreads, drinking chocolates, and enrobed delights such as Olivettes, “Cailloux” and coffee beans.

All our chocolates are made in Provence, in our own workshop, following a process that respects seasons, flavours and craftsmanship. Our exclusive recipes – free from unnecessary additives, cream or butter – combine pure pleasure with balanced indulgence. Olive oil, the house’s signature ingredient, naturally enhances flavour and gives each bite its silky, melting texture.
